Belton is famous for tennis, and has long been known as the “Tennis Capital of South Carolina.”  It has hosted the Palmetto Championships since 1957 and is home of the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame.  This exhibit will detail the history of this sport, not only in Belton, but around the world.  The exhibit will be located in the Museum Gallery on the north end of the Historic Belton Depot.  While there visit the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame located on the south end of the depot and the historic Belton Tennis Center located across the street.

Community Calendar Policy
