C’est la Belle Vie!…A Night for the Museum
Mar 7 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$40.00Join us for a magical evening to benefit the Belton Area Museum Association on Thursday, March 7, beginning at 6:30 PM.
Complete with delectable cuisine, beer and wine, and good-natured competition, the event’s tickets are available now for the upcoming French themed fundraiser Celebrer le Musee: A Night for the Museum. The event will be held at the historic Belton Train Depot.
“The depot will be transformed into a Parisian bistro and amazing cuisine and drinks will be served to all attendees. And the bidding can get quite competitive, but all in good fun,” said BAMA President Dr. Tim Drake.
Tickets are $40 each or two for $75 and include complimentary drinks, beer, wine, seated dinner, a bidding card, and lots of fun competition among friends. The Bradbury Bistro is providing dinner, with spinach and artichoke cremeaux and baguettes, coq au vin, French baby carrots, and lemon tart.
Included in the bidding will be a leather executive’s chair (value $1850) donated by Maynard’s, getaways to special vacation spots, dining and party packages, jewelry, antiques, and services such as salon/spa treatments, auto detailing, and event experiences for families.
Items of interest will be included in both the silent and live auction bidding. An updated list of auction items will be available at the Belton Area Museum Association’s Facebook Page.
Proceeds benefit the Belton Area Museum Association and its educational programs. With nearly 10,000 visitors to the museum each year, BAMA offers historical, cultural, and educational programs free of charge to the public. Participation in this fundraiser will help BAMA preserve, protect, and display our area’s historic treasures.
The Combo Kings are the signature event presenter.
“We are not only a band who loves to play for the community, but we also believe in supporting the many wonderful organizations in our area, so this was a good fit,” said David Jones.
The event is also being sponsored by Clinkscales Drugs, Clinkscales Chevrolet, Maynard’s Home Furnishings, Earth Materials Grading, Southern Burglar Alarm, O’Dell Oil Company, Edward Jones, Argo and Associates, South State Bank, Senator Mike Gambrell, Representative Jay West, Belton Metal Corporation, BAMA President Tim Drake, Belton Comprehensive Dentistry, A and D Auto Sales, D and B Glass, and Palmetto Insurance Co.-Keys Agency.
