Craft & Rummage Sale

Mar 16 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

A big Craft & Rummage Sale is scheduled for March 16 at the Belton Recreation Center gym for 8:00 to 1:00.  The sixth annual event will be held indoors for the first time.  The Rec Center is located at 700 Blue Ridge Avenue in Belton.  Over 40 vendors are expected.  Rummage sale items will include costume jewelry, clothing, baby goods, tools, books, gently used furniture, sporting goods, lawn equipment, electronics and game and household decor.  Crafters include vendors selling woodcrafts and signs, hand-painted furniture, silhouettes, handmade jewelry, paper crafts, sewing and patterns, and holiday decor.  The Belton Lions Club will be selling brooms and mops.

The sale benefits the Belton Recreation Department and Belton Area Museum Association programs.  Call Alison Darby (864-958-5264) or Abigail Burden (864-338-7400) for more information.  The deadline to apply as a vendor is March 12.  Darby said:  “We hope everyone will come check out the great bargains and one-of-a-king items for sale!”
