Paranormal Presentation

October 19, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Interested in pursuing the ghost hunting craze?  Need some pointers on getting started?  Come on out to the most haunted place in Anderson County, the Historic Belton Train Depot, and learn from a real ghost hunter!

Catherine Vinson, a paranormal investigator with Ghost PRO of Greenville, will be the featured speaker at a free seminar on Thursday, Oct. 19, beginning at 7 PM, at the Belton Depot.  Ghost Hunting 101 is free to all participants.  Catherine (Cat) A. Vinson is a mother, grandmother, dispatcher, ordained minister, a paranormal investigator and researcher.  As a child, Cat had multiple paranormal experiences that led to a lifelong fascination with this field, leaving her with questions about the unseen world.

“Over the course of the last eight years investigating with the Ghost PRO team, I have found answers to many of my questions and have come to a greater understanding about why we are here, and where we might go from here,” she said.

While she no longer has any doubt that ghosts and spirits do exist in our world, she still loves finding the concrete proof to show to others. Her presentation will include the basics of ghost hunting, what to do and especially what not to do.  She will also share real stories of paranormal investigations and reveal evidence from haunted cases.

There will also be a question and answer session at the end of the presentation.

“I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others, and love seeing someone’s face light up when they realize that they’ve just listened to, seen, or experienced the paranormal,” Vinson added.

The Belton Area Museum Association is hosting this free event for the public.  Please contact Executive Director Abigail Burden at 864-338-7400 for more information.
