Worthy Named Belton Alliance Business of the Quarter
Looking for a refreshing, nutritious drink and a dose of encouragement to brighten your day? Stop by Worthy, the Belton Alliance’s newest Business of the Quarter.
Owned by 19-year-old entrepreneur Tiffany Johnson, Worthy has quickly become known not only for its healthy beverages but also for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to serving the Belton community. Johnson assumed ownership of the business in May 2025 and has embraced the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship with determination and faith.
“Since becoming a business owner, I have changed in countless ways,” Johnson said. “First and foremost, I’ve learned that only faith in God will be the reason my business succeeds. Through this divine trust, I have learned how to adapt to new spaces and techniques while balancing the responsibilities of being a single mother.”
Originally located next to the former Clinkscales Drugs, Worthy recently relocated to its new home at 115 River Street in downtown Belton, where it continues to welcome customers seeking healthier beverage options in a warm, friendly environment.
Johnson is supported by a dedicated team that includes her mother, Kathy, along with Fiona, Natalee, and Reagan. Together, they greet customers, prepare drinks, share conversations, and even create fun social media videos that reflect the upbeat spirit of the business.
Worthy specializes in nutritious alternatives to traditional energy drinks and protein shakes, offering an extensive menu of protein shakes, loaded energy teas, and other refreshing beverages designed to fuel customers throughout the day. The business features Herbalife Nutrition products, which are incorporated into all of its menu offerings.
More than a nutrition shop, Johnson says Worthy’s mission is to nourish all aspects of their customers’ lives.
“Our mission is to serve this community with nourishment for the body and the spirit through encouraging healthier habits, building meaningful relationships, and participating in a community that inspires, supports, and encourages each other,” she said.
Johnson believes those relationships are what truly set Worthy apart.
“We have made it our priority to build close and meaningful connections with people by simply offering an ear to listen, a hype person for that big day, a small group to connect with once a month, and customer appreciation days,” she said.
For customers who want to continue their wellness journey at home, Worthy also offers bulk products and personalized nutrition plans. Customers can purchase their favorite products in larger quantities and receive guidance tailored to their individual health goals.
Johnson says choosing Belton as the home for her business has been one of her greatest blessings.
“In less than two years I have fallen in love with everything about Belton. Since becoming a part of this community and the relationships we’ve forged, I have gained a new perspective of friendship, love, and loyalty that I didn’t know before. The people in this community have provided me with more than I could ever imagine—whether it’s a tire change or a business plan, there’s always been a smiling face and helping hand. This business was born in Belton, has grown in Belton, and will thrive in Belton.”
She added, “At the end of the day it comes down to genuine conversations with real people. Our customers are made to feel like friends and even family because they are.”
Regular customer Joe Smith says those relationships are part of what makes Worthy special.
“You will leave with a wonderful and nutritious drink and a smile on your face from the interaction with all the staff at Worthy,” Smith said.
