Rhythm on the Rails Outdoor Concert Series Continues May 13 & 27

Rhythm on the Rails, a free community outdoor concert series held at the historic Belton Depot and presented by WebbCraft Family Foundation and the Belton Area Museum Association continues with performances by top local musicians on May 13 and May 27.

The Combo Kings will perform on Saturday May 13 at 6:30.  The band plays a wide range of music from Broadway show tunes to rock music from the 50’s to the present.  The Combo Kings have been together for two years and have achieved a great following among people in the area.  Band members are guitarist David Jones, vocalist Dana Russell, drummer Chad Bond, keyboardist Hazen Bannister, bass guitarist Bruce Griffith and guitarist Cecil Duncan.

Loretta Holloway, and Belton native and South Carolina’s “First Lady of Song” will perform at 7:00 on Saturday, May 27 offering a combination of outstanding jazz and contemporary music.  Loretta has graced the stage from Las Vegas to Australia.  Her voice has a silky smooth and pure tone and does she ever wow a crowd!  Holloway will be acoompanied by Russ Long, Ethan Burkhardt and more invited guest musicians.

The series is also sponsored by SAPA, Industrial Maintenance Services-Belton, Anderson County ATAX, City of Belton HTAX, and Hard Candy Biker Wear.

Bring your lawn chair for an evening of fun and entertainment. Food trucks will be on site for your dining pleasure.
