You could be the winner of the 2017 Hot Chili Eating Contest, Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 PM, at this year’s South Carolina State Chili Cook Off Championships in downtown Belton.

A Kindle Fire, roll of toilet paper, a bottle of Pepto Bismol, and bragging rights go to the first place winner who eats the most bowls of fiery chili in 5 minutes.  The second place finisher will receive a restaurant gift certificate.

Sponsored by Best Buy, Darby Metalworks, Inc. and the Commercial Bank, this event’s procees benefit the Belton Area Museum Association’s educational programming.
