The Belton Lions Club was organized on July 11, 1935 and is the oldest civic organization in Belton. The club has approximately 40 members, both women and men. The club raises funds to support numerous charitable causes in the community and provides eyeglasses to Belton adults and children in need. Click here for an application. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except July when there is no meeting and December when they meet on the second Thursday) at 7:00pm at Latimer Memorial United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (corner of River Street and Green Street) and includes a meal and program. Fellow Lions from out-of town clubs and other guests are welcome!
