Belton Lions Club
The Belton Lions Club was organized on July 11, 1935 and is the oldest civic organization in Belton. The club has approximately 30 members, both women and men. The club raises funds to support numerous charitable causes in the community and provides eyeglasses to Belton and Honea Path adults and children in need. Club members also provide community service hours to non-profit organization in the area. Click here for an application. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except July when there is no meeting and December when the meeting is usually held on the second Thursday) at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall at Latimer Memorial Methodist Church, 200 River Street) and includes a meal and program. Fellow Lions from out of town clubs and other guests are always welcome!
