The Belton Golf League, sponsored by the Belton Parks & Recreation Department, has 5 weeks left on the first leg.  Play is on Wednesday afternoons at 5:30; the remaining dates are May 10, May 17, May 24, May 31 and June 7.  The entry fee is $25 and $20 to play 9 holes for the next 5 weeks.  The second leg of the League begins on August 2 and runs thru October 4.  A Standpipe Golf Tournament featuring a captain’s choice format will be played on Friday, October 6 at Pine Lake with a 1:00 shot gun start.  Contact Joey Lance at 617-9345 or email [email protected] for more information.
