Join the Belton Museum for a magical evening…Ole! A Night for the Museum on Thursday, March 15 from 6:30 to 9:00 at the historic Belton Depot. Tickets are $25/person and the event is complete with cuisine, wine, Spanish music, fun and good-natured competition for great auction items. Heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by J, R and J Eats will be available as well as complimentary drinks, beer and Spanish wine. Decorations and floral design will add to the enchanting evening, compliments of Southern Twist Floral and Gifts. Native son Johnny Culwell, an accomplished guitarist, will entertain with Spanish guitar music prior to the auction. Ticket outlets include the Belton Museum located on the north end of the depot, Maynard’s Home Furnishings and Clinkscales Drugs. The event is presented by Industrial Maintenance Service of Belton and sponsored by a number of local businesses.
Items of interest will be included in both the silent and live auctions. David Mears will serve as the auctioneer. A sample of live auction items include:

Highlighting the live auction will be a week’s stay at a magnificent villa in a gated community in Manzanillo, Mexico, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Mexican Riviera. Spectacular golf and deep sea fishing trips are available in the area. The villa includes 5 luxury bedroom suites, two pool,spa, chefs, maids and a service staff to serve your every need and make you feel like on of the rich and famous!
The silent auction will include golf outings, dining and party packages, jewelry, antiques and services such as salon/spa treatments, auto detailing and sporting, dance and music lessons. An updated list of auction items will be available at the Belton Area Museum Association’s Facebook page.
Proceeds benefit the Belton Area Museum Association and its programs. With nearly 10,000 visitors to the museum each year, BAMA offers historical, cultural, and educational programs free of charge to the public. Participation in this fundraiser will help BAMA preserve, protect, and display our area’s historic treasures.
