Grimms’ Fairy Tales

Mar 25 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until March 25, 2022

Audiences of all ages will enjoy watching BHP drama students perform classic Grimm’s fairy tales in a theater-in-the-round at the Historic Belton Depot.  Attendees will witness the depot’s transformation into the German countryside with fantastic costumes and vivid settings as the backdrop to three folk stories, dramatized by the student actors.    “Rumpelstiltskin,” “Godfather Death,” and “Jack and the Beanstalk” have been reimagined by the drama students, and all tales have been produced and directed by students as a semester project.  These events are part of the Anderson International Festival, which this year features Germany.  Tickets are $5/person and may be purchased at the door.  All proceeds will benefit the BHP Drama Department.
