The Belton Center for the Arts will host one of the biggest events of the year…so big it can’t be held in just one venue…Derby Days on Saturday, May 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Center for the Arts and the Listening Room.  Tickets are only $20 and may be purchased at the Center for the Arts or by phone by calling 338-8556.  Enjoy time with friends, a live viewing of the 2018 Kentucky Derby (post time 6:34) on the BIG screen, heavy hors d’oeuvres, “win,” “place” and “show” betting windows, a silent and live auction with great items, sports events, trips and vacations.  A cash bar with mint julep specials will be available as well as an opportunity to win cash with the 50/50 raffle.  Go to www.beltoncenterforthearts.org and go to the “Exhibits and Events” page for more details.  All proceeds will go the the Belton Center for the Arts as they celebrate 18 artistic years and work in the Belton community.
