Belton Lions Club
The Belton Lions Club was organized on July 11, 1935 and is the oldest civic organization in Belton. The club has approximately 25 members, both women and men. The club raises funds to support numerous charitable causes in the community and provides eyeglasses to Belton and Honea Path adults and children in need. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except July when there is no meeting and December when the meeting is held on the second Thursday) at 7:00pm at The Mercantile (219 North Main Street) and includes a meal and program. Fellow Lions from out of town clubs and other guests are welcome!
